Located in Howell, New Jersey, Monmouth Academy, formerly known as Lakewood Prep, is a non-sectarian, nonprofit, co-educational, independent day school that provides an intimate, supportive classroom environment for its pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade students, where a dedicated faculty encourages its students to think critically and responsibly.  Recent graduates of Monmouth Academy have matriculated to the most selective colleges in the country, including Columbia University, New York University, Johns Hopkins University, Boston University, Parsons, Pennsylvania State University, Princeton University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, University of Vermont, Virginia Tech, and the University of the Arts.  Monmouth Academy is accredited through the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools.
